To Be The World Champion

gArssallan Maleikouu, Kiff Hallak? Hirss Minn TOSHIYUKI OHARA.h

I introduced myself in Alabic. Did you understand? Now I will use
English and introduce myself.

gHello, how are you? My name is Toshiyuki Ohara.h

Can you guess why I used Alabic? The reason is the experience
that I had in Dubai from November last year to May this year
and Alabic is the mainly spoken there, so I used.
The purpose of the trip was to take part in all Jet Ski races,
named gUAE JETSKI Seriesh.
Now I explain a little about Jet Ski. The riders can ride a Jet Ski
that can slide on the water. The fastest ones can get up to 150km.
I have ride Jet Ski since I was 12, and I like doing it.
But I mustnft ride Jet Ski in Japan now because I am only 15 years
old and I canft get a driverfs license. In UAE, we donft need
a license for Jet Ski. So, young riders, including me, must go
abroad to practice and race.

Now I will talk about my life in Dubai.
The local people took care of me and I spent at their home.
In the week, I usually went school for Japanese and studied there.
After school I practiced Jet Ski, and most holidays I could practice
all day. While staying and the host family, I could learn about the
local culture. So, I will tell a little bit about them.
The first one is because of the people of UAE are all believers
of Islam, so they play 5 times a day facing Mecca. And other than
that they canft neither eat pork nor drink wine or beer.
The lunch time is after 3 pm. So the people eat sandwiches or
snacks about noon. And after waiting for students coming
from school, the family starts eating lunch together. So I could
really enjoy a different culture from Japan.

The main reason of my staying in Dubai, is the results of the Jet Ski
races. Once for the 4th position, twice for the 3rd position, twice
for the 2nd position. I have the first position on the seasons ranking.
With that I got the second position on the National ranking with just
one point of difference from the first one. Though I was the first position
before the last race, I retired from it. I regretted the result and it made
me very sad. Then my team members and staffs encouraged me,
gDonft worry about the result. You couldnft get the first position
in this season, but you can try in the next one. If you practice really
hard so you will get a better resulth.

So these words from them cheered me up and I decided to try again.
I could know the importance of finishing the race and the preciousness
of one single point. Through this season I really had a great experience,
and also thinking that I was really far away from my hometown,
the result of second position on the ranking made me, my dad, mom,
all sponsors and the host family really proud and happy.

I must say again how much I appreciate it and Ifd dare to tell you my
dream that is to become the world champion.
I have a plan to attend the world championship in October and
I will do my best to realize my dream. So I would like you to cheer me up.
